Unlike those complex invoice systems, our free invoice templates in Excel spreadsheet format provide intuitive what-you-see-is-what-you-get invoice creator — processing invoices are as simple as filling spreadsheets. Unlike pure Excel templates, this invoice generator connects the template with databases, making it easier for small business owners to get reports like accounts payable and product sales.
The invoicing app installs only one template. Small businesses need professional invoices too, so we designed free templates for different business and industry types, suitable for both sales and service businesses, such as consulting, cross-board proforma/commercial, VAT or sales tax, sole trader or freelancer, garage/auto repair, farm/agriculture, freight, clothing store/manufacturer, time billing / hourly invoicing, legal/attorney/law firm, rental, medical/psychologist, pet sitting, contractor, designer, photography, labor, construction, pest control, hotel/motel, and many more. Best of all, all the templates are open source — i.e. not locked with passwords, so you can further customize by using all the rich tools provided by Microsoft Excel/Office, such as modifying fonts and colors, moving cells, using formulas and drop-down lists, or even applying VBA macros.
It is a simple invoice creator software, but includes all the key invoice management features, for example: manage customers/clients, convert quotations to invoice, create and email purchase orders, generate PDF or image invoices, print on letterhead paper, track payments.
Besides the default Microsoft Access database format, the invoicing app also supports the online SQL Server database.
This invoice maker app requires the desktop version of Microsoft Excel. It does not work with the web version of Office (i.e. Office online that runs inside a web browser).
The trial version is fully functional. After the trial period, you’ll need to subscribe to keep it.
