This is the first version of Trainspnrstatus app. It incorporates facility to check PNR Status, train time table, live train status, trains between two important stations, station codes and Indian Railways map. This is a lightweight web app to help frequent rail travelers who need basic important railways information.

Trainspnrstatus is all in one rail inquiry app. It can help you check PNR status of your Indian Railways and IRCTC tickets. One can get train schedule with live running train status information.
How to check PNR status using this app?
It is very easy and simple. All you need to is to open this app. Once app is opened, you will find a form at the top. In the input box, enter your 10 digit PNR number and submit. Your current reservation status will be shown instantly.
PNR is a 10 digit number, usually printed on top-left corner of your Indian Railway’s counter ticket. If you have booked your ticket from IRCTC, then you can find this number on your electronically generated E-tickets. Also, IRCTC sends an SMS on your mobile phone in which all the necessary details regarding ticket is present. This booking SMS from IRCTC includes PNR number. You can locate it and use it to find current reservation status of your ticket.
How to check time table of different trains?
Indian Railways run thousands of trains daily. In order to check train schedule using Trainspnrstatus app, open this app and click on menu icon present in top right corner of the display. Once you click menu, it will show different links of the sections. Simply click on ‘Train Schedule’ option. Enter five digit train number and hit get train schedule button. After successful submission of train number, app will show you detailed time table of that train. From starting station to ending station, all scheduled time of trains are listed in table in chronological order for better understanding.
Now if you need to check live train status, all you need to do is to select station and running days information from the available form on top. Clicking submit button will load live running status information about a train.
Another great feature of this app is that it can provide you the list of all trains running between two important stations. After selecting ‘Trains Between Stations’ options, enter details of ‘from’ and ‘to’ in the form. Click ‘Get Trains Between’ button. It will load all the trains with departure and arrival time. It will also list train running days information. Distance between those two station and travel time will also be listed for better understanding.
Apart from main features of Trainspnrstatus app like PNR Status, train schedule and live status; one can also check train coach position, Indian Railway map and station codes.
